THE SKY ART SCULPTURES OF BORREGO SPRINGS

People come to Borrego Springs from around the United States and internationally to see the amazing 130 full-sized metal sculptures here that are inspired by creatures that roamed this same desert millions of years ago. The artworks range from prehistoric mammals to historical characters, fanciful dinosaurs, and a 350-foot-long fanciful serpent. Can you find them all?

GEMS OF PALA

ROCK ART

The Native Americans who inhabited the Anza-Borrego Desert left a legacy of art. Their petroglyphs and pictographs are eyewitness accounts of what was important to them.  The exact location of these ancient art works is not published to protect them from vandalism.  If you should encounter one of these art works while hiking, please respect it and do not touch.  Much of it was sacred.  Treat it with reverence.
